Concept Art Previews 2

Here is another piece from Sheldon Dawson, a candidate for the cover painting for the first Fantasy Infinity boxed set. This piece is crazier than a busload of giraffes, and had me grinning from ear to ear when I first received it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I’m sure it hasn’t escaped your notice that I wrote “a candidate for the cover painting” above. This is one of two – Sheldon will be finishing both pieces regardless, and once the colour paintings are in (I can’t wait!) both should be all over this site and the Kickstarter page, but of course, only one can be the front cover of the box! You can see the other candidate on our Facebook page, so go check it out!

Haha! It’s a little clearer in the colour version, which is the featured image in the Fragments on Aperion post, but they’re tiny air elementals that look like whirlwinds with butterfly wings. They’re pulling the chariot, guided by “reins” of magical force that Rhea (the Greek-looking woman) is holding.
